Chesed Committee

Adath Israel’s Chesed Committee supports many important social action programs through acts of
compassion and loving kindness. We work with charitable organizations like Out of the Cold, Bikur
Cholim and Ve’ahavta, that provide assistance to the homeless. We have created an annual Mitzvah Day
to give back to special organizations in the GTA and Israel, we organize holiday programs for CAMH, and
much more. Our volunteers include participants of all ages who assist with many areas where there is a
need for assistance and care.
